I've gotten my biggest responses in regards to my posts on the houses of the hilarious show "Modern Family." You have all been asking me so many questions on where to find the furnishings throughout Phil and Claire Dunphy's traditional home. I've done some major hunting and did my best to find you some answers! So here is what I came up with:

One request was from an anonymous commenter so I cannot personally respond but they were curious as to where they can find the couch in the main living room. The style couch the Dunphy's have in their living room is called a "bridgewater sofa" which is defined by it's angled upholstered back and low set-back arms. The Dunphy couch is in a pale yellow fabric but the overall style of couch is identical to the one seen here.
I found this particular sofa at a blog that advertises for a company called Classic Design LA. I emailed the company asking for more information on the sofa and learned that this
particular bridgewater was a custom piece made for one of their clients. This one is 6 feet, tight back, loose seat, coil springs, dark mahogany legs, and row of nail heads. The price was $8,750. They have ready made pieces and they can also do custom designs or reupholster your current furniture for you. Thanks to them for their help and quick response!

These drapes from Pottery Barn called harrison stripes, matched so well to the Dunphy window dressing that I was pretty excited to find them however, it looks as though PB is not currently carrying the specific pattern (at least not online so maybe check your local PB just in case!). If you are willing to take the DIY route, I think it would be fairly easy to find this pattern at a fabric store and whip up some curtains at a bargain price.

I found A LOT of striped decorative couch pillows during my searching that came pretty close to the light beachy striped pillows on the Dunphy sofa. This is another situation where you can go the DIY route and make your own pillow covers in which case the pattern shown above would be an excellent way to go. I found this fabric at Designs By Bethann.

This was my best attempt at getting you guys the info and tips on how to re-create the Dunphy decor in your own home. I did have one request for the bed frame in the master bedroom but I cannot find anything that resembles it so I will keep searching and add it should I get lucky. So you have the furnishings and paint colours, time to get started!
Any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Great Post! I was just talking to a friend the other about these houses the other day. The canadian house and home featured a very similar sofa on a recent show home.

The stripey pillows are a discontinued pattern from Pottery Barn called "Alex". You can still get them on Ebay!
Anyone know where to find the curtains in the Dunphy's bedroom?
I was going to ask the same question as above. The curtains in Phil and Claire's bedroom, they are a chocolate brown floral and I love them. Anyone know where to find them or the name of the fabric?
All your questions will be answered to the best of my abilities very soon. I am in the works of making all the info I have much easier to retrieve. Stay tuned!

I love the Dunphy's dining room table! I saw the post about a similar table from pottery barn which is all white. Any ideas where I can find a table with the brown wood top and white legs as shown in the tv show?
